For our Mendrisio location, we are looking for an Accounting Coordinator (m/f/d) who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going the extra mile.

Your Responsibilities

  • Posting of supplier invoices
  • General ledger entries in compliance with local and Group regulations
  • Support in managing assets depreciation in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Bank and payment management
  • Support in the preparation and review of VAT returns, tax returns and local compliance
  • Support in monthly and annual closing and budget process
  • Cooperation with external consultants and auditors
  • Support to the HR Manager in personnel administration and payroll management
  • Collection and submission of payroll data to the external payroll provider and verification of the accuracy of processed salary calculations
  • Reconciliation of payroll data with accounting records and annual declarations
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Support management on Finance & HR topics
  • Support in managing relationships with consultants regarding Legislative Decree 231/2001 (Organizational Model 231) for the Italian subsidiary and health & safety regulations
  • Support general and operational administrative activities

Your Expertise

  • Degree in Economics or related field
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in accounting/administration
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Swiss and Italian payroll systems
  • Familiarity with Italian regulations such as Legislative Decree 231/2001 and health & safety laws
  • Fluent in Italian (native or equivalent)
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of German (plus)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and flexibility
