For our locations in Tønsberg or Gothenburg, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going one step further.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand the needs of existing, new, and potential customers
  • Promote and represent HOYER’s solutions across all relevant business areas
  • Build and maintain longterm, trust-based customer relationships
  • Prepare and deliver tailored service quotations and respond to tenders
  • Manage contract negotiations, including pricing and periodic adjustments
  • Accurately document all sales activities in the CRM system
  • Collaborate closely with operations and support regional budget and target planning with the Head of Sales

Your Expertise

  • Proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish and fluent English (including negotiation level)
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in the logistics sector, ideally in liquid chemicals and intermodal or overseas transportation
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or shipping; chemical industry knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong sales mindset with a results-driven, hands-on approach and clear commercial talent
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Scandinavian countries
