Your Role
As a Dedicated Operator, you are responsible for the full operational process of tank container transport for your dedicated customer. You ensure that customer orders are executed accurately, efficiently, and profitably.
You have daily contact with your customer, logistics service providers, and internal teams to ensure everything runs according to plan. When necessary, you act quickly to adjust and resolve operational issues.
You will be part of a team of four colleagues in the same role. Each team member is responsible for their own dedicated customer portfolio. In your case, this involves a specific Chinese customer, which requires a high level of accuracy, structured communication, and strong coordination due to the international nature of the relationship. Within the team, you work closely together and support each other where needed, while maintaining full ownership of your own customer process.
What Will You Do?
- Process and create customer orders in the system
- Confirm orders and inform your customer about shipments
- Coordinate transport with logistics partners
- Optimize the use and repositioning of tank containers (empty & full)
- Update the Equipment Control system on a daily basis
- Identify and resolve operational deviations
- Monitor planning, quality, and service levels
To ensure a successful start, you are required to work fully from the office during the first six months. After this period, hybrid working is possible in consultation (up to a maximum of 2 days per week for a full-time position.
Your profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the tank container or logistics sector
Strong communication skills - Good command of the English language (essential due to daily communication with your Chinese customer). Knowledge of the Chinese language is a plus.
- Experience with logistics systems (ERP/TMS)
- Ability to work under pressure with a structured and accurate approach
- Experience with international or cross-cultural communication is a plus

What Do We Offer You?
- A 7-month employment contract for 40 hours per week with the possibility of a permanent contract
- A salary between €3.500 – €5.000 gross per month, depending on experience and education*
- 24 vacation days and 3.5 ADV (reduction of working hours) days for full-time employment
