For the HOYER Group, we are looking for a (Junior) Application Manager / Business Analyst (m/f/d) in the Business Unit Chemilog for the area of Digitalisation, Innovation & IT at the locations Dormagen, Hamburg or Schkopau. Your commitment and diligence will be the basis for our ability to meet even the highest customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Link between business, technical and IT specialists
  • The further development of our global WMS and BI applications
  • Taking over (sub-)projects and controlling them from requirement, user acceptance test to user training
  • Development of requirements for software development together with the departments
  • Assume the role of a product manager for the further development and maintenance of the application and actively participate in the roadmap
  • Advising colleagues on IT-specific decisions

Qualifications

  • First professional experience with a university degree in computer science or business informatics or with equivalent professional training
  • Experience in business analysis and process documentation or process design
  • First practical experience in project management, ideally in the field of logistics
  • Basic knowledge of IT architectures, IT technologies and IT interfaces
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Enjoy working with key users even in critical project phases
  • Service-oriented personality, team spirit and initiative
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel (national and international) required
