For our location in Houston, TX we are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going one step further.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activities and manage key accounts to strengthen customer relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Achieve growth and revenue targets within the assigned customer portfolio
  • Build, maintain, and expand a strong network of customers, prospects, and key decision-makers while fostering long-term partnerships
  • Identify, coordinate, and manage customer projects and business opportunities across relevant stakeholders
  • Lead and support tender processes, including the preparation of competitive proposals and the acquisition of new contracts
  • Act as the key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service delivery and the prompt resolution of issues
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and promote the full HOYER portfolio through cross-selling initiatives

Your Expertise

  • Minimum of six years’ proven experience in external sales and customer-facing roles within the logistics industry, ideally with a focus on liquid chemicals and intermodal transportation
  • Strong ability to identify market trends, understand customer needs, and translate them into business opportunities
  • Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and stakeholders, including Director and VP-level contacts, both internally and externally
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions and think beyond conventional approaches.Results-oriented, pragmatic, and proactive working style with a strong focus on achieving business objectives
  • High willingness to travel, primarily within the United States, with approximately 50% of the time spent in customer-facing activities; experience within the food-grade industry is considered an advantage
