We are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our Key Account Management team – ideally based at one of our locations in Germany, the Netherlands or Belgium.
In this responsible role, you will be in charge of the sales activities for cotac as well as HOYER Group’s tank container depot, cleaning and repair network, playing a key role in the further development of our logistics solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  •  As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the development and implementation of the sales plan for each depot, considering both existing and new customers. The plan includes depot loading, margin situation, customer and market demands in the region, as well as the unique selling propositions (USPs) of the depots
  • Additionally, you support the Senior Operations Managers (SMOs) in evaluating and developing the customer portfolio
  • You respond quickly and efficiently to commercial inquiries from our customers, including offer submissions and follow-ups, and collaborate closely with the SMOs and the Customer Service organization
  • You proactively build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at both existing and potential customer organizations
  • In your role, you lead price negotiations, understand the market pricing structure, and develop a competitive pricing strategy that meets market demands
  • As a strategic partner, you support the budgeting process by considering sales budgets, customer growth forecasts, and the need for new services
  • As a sales expert, you develop tools to measure customer satisfaction and define common SLAs/KPIs to make cotac’s performance transparent and measurable

Your Expertise

  • A completed degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Logistics
  • 5-7 years of experience in a commercial role within the tank container depot industry
  •  Strong expertise in the tank container depot market
  • A pioneering mindset with the ability to develop and implement successful sales processes
  • Driven and results-oriented, with the ability to motivate teams and gain buy-in for achieving objectives
  • Strong analytical skills, able to identify market trends and define the unique selling propositions (USPs) of locations and regions
  • Exceptional communication skills in German, English, and ideally also in Dutch
  • High willingness to travel, seeing it as an exciting opportunity to connect with clients and expand business opportunities
