For the area Procurement in Hamburg, Dormagen or Rotterdam, we are looking for a Procurement Manager - Fleet (m/f/d) who lives every day by what we aspire to: leading the way forward in logistics. 

Your tasks

  • Acts as the category interface with the business units and ensures the harmonization and bundling of requirements as well as alignment of category strategy, targets and trends
  • Accountable for the multi-year category strategy and plan objectives, timelines, and goals
  • Analyzes cross-divisional spending and develops global strategic sourcing plans to reduce the total cost of ownership for all business units
  • Manages the supplier qualification, RFP, supplier selection, contract development, implementation, compliance, and ongoing supply base management process
  • Drives supplier consolidation through engaging and supporting Division Business Partners to qualify preferred suppliers and migrate spend from incumbent, non-preferred suppliers

Your skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Graduate Degree in Business (Preferred), Finance, and/or Technical field
  • Proven record of procurement/sourcing experience in a large matrixed company environment, minimum 3 years’ experience in the assigned category
  • Effective business partnering capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex organization
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be able to work across all functions and levels of an organization
  • International experience (plus) – working experience in different countries/regions
  • Willingness to travel
