Tasks and responsibilities

  • You will independently process customer enquiries in the sales department and support the Area Sales Manager and the Key Account Manager in creating customer quotations.
  • Furthermore, you will be one of the prime focal points for other questions and queries our customer may have.
  • Active communication: follow-up on quotations, re-negotiating, evaluating are also parts of your daily routine.
  • Support in preparation of tenders, projects and campaigns.
  • Documenting and storing important customer information in our CRM.

Requirements for the position

  • Successfully completed commercial professional training, preferably as a forwarding agent or comparable professional training
  • Professional experience in the areas of intermodal transports and/or liquid chemical transports (tank forwarding/hazardous goods) would be beneficial
  • Independent, self-reliant way of working and hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Fluent in English, basics on German (further language skills desirable)
  • Service oriented
  • Pragmatic and intrinsic drive to get things done
  • You are an open and clear person
  • Willing to go the extra mile
