For the Application Development & Deployment, we are looking for an Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) at the Hamburg location, who will help shape the digital logistics of the future with us.

Your Responsibilities

As a valuable member of a small expert team, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient extraction of data from various systems
Model the extracted data optimally for reporting and data analysis purposes
Work closely with colleagues from source systems and business analysis teams, applying agile methodologies
Your main focus will be on utilizing Talend for efficient data extraction and managing the Snowflake Data Warehouse. GitHub is used as a repository for storing and versioning our data.
Collaborate with your colleagues to oversee the management of the Snowflake and Qlik systems

Your Expertise

A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
At least five years of experience in data modeling and extraction, ideally with knowledge of the Data Vault 2.0 methodology
Extensive experience in database administration (SQL), performance tuning, and refactoring
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend and data extraction and transformation tools
Independent and proactive approach to work within established guidelines
Proficient in both written and spoken German and English for business communication
