  For our Innovation & Sustainability department in Hamburg, Dormagen, Mannheim or Rotterdam we are looking for a Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) who lives every day by what we aspire to: leading the way forward in logistics.

YOUR TASKS

  • Monitoring of sustainability trends as well as ideation and development of sustainable solutions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Portfolio and project management for sustainability-related initiatives within HOYER's strategic module "sustainability" (e.g. decarbonisation of transport, depot, tank cleaning and warehousing activities, environmental protection and impact accounting)
  • Support of business units to realise defined roadmaps and sustainability targets
  • Responsibility for ESG reporting and other relevant standards/certifications/audits (e.g. ISO 26000, Ecovadis, CDP)
  • Establishment of internal and external relationships through proactive networking in the respective field

YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree in business administration, engineering or natural science
  • Ideally 2 years of professional experience in a climate-focused consultancy or in a sustainability-related department of a logistics company
  • Experience in project management with cross-functional project teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Authentic interest in sustainable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with high qualitative demands
  • Business fluent in English and German
