For our BL Intermodal & Road, we are looking for an Operational Performance Manager (m/f/d) at our Dormagen or Rotterdam location, someone who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going one step further.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor transport orders to identify underperforming shipments, lanes, or customer orders, and initiate clarification with the responsible Order Owner
  • Ensure accuracy of booked costs, extra charges, lump sums, and additional income
  • Continuously review and ensure readiness of revenue/cost entries for invoicing in the Transport Management System
  • Oversee the issuance of invoices and credit notes, and coordinate corrective actions with the Billing & Invoicing team
  • Manage internal settlements and resolve incorrect or duplicate charges within the HOYER organization
  • Analyze non-billable costs, assess root causes, and collaborate with Operations and Sales to implement corrective measures
  • Regularly review deferred income to identify unnecessary delays or risks
  • Support month-end closing procedures, including write-offs and cost adjustments
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc data analyses to support operational and financial decision-making

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training in logistics
  • Initial professional experience in a similar role or within the field of operational performance
  • Relevant experience in logistics services would be beneficial
  • Relevant experience in operational controlling would be beneficial
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • High level of flexibility, efficiency, and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality
