For our Corporate Development at our Hamburg headquarters, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager M&A (m/f/d) who shares the mindset that defines all our people: the ambition to go beyond expectations, challenge the status quo, and actively shape the future of a global logistics leader.

Your Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions projects, from initial due diligence to post-merger integration
Conduct thorough due diligence to assess the financial, operational, and strategic fit of potential acquisition targets
Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and achieve synergies
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution
Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A activities
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of M&A projects
Support and work on strategic initiatives to drive global expansion

Your Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions in an international context
Solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
Proficient in project management tools and software; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams
Strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving
Willingness to travel as required by project demands
