For our Corporate Development at our Hamburg headquarters, we are seeking a Senior  Project Manager M&A (m/f/d) who shares the mindset that defines all our people: the ambition to go beyond expectations, challenge the status quo, and actively shape the future of a global logistics leader.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions projects, from initial due diligence to post-merger integration
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to assess the financial, operational, and strategic fit of potential acquisition targets
  • Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and achieve synergies
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A activities
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of M&A projects
  • Support and work on strategic initiatives to drive global expansion

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions in an international context
  • Solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
  • Proficient in project management tools and software; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel as required by project demands
